Blinkenschild

Our good friends at Hackerspaceshop and Metalab put together this AMAZING project with 15 pcs of our 8×8 matrices,  RGB-123 8×8 (US) / RGB-123 8×8 (EU). Using a Teensy 3.1 with a custom setup that includes lipo battery power, bluetooth and a microsd card they were able to assemble this project into a very complete project!

The Blinkenschild project is aportable sign consists of:
– 15 pcs RGB-123 8×8 for a total of 960 pixels (40×24)
– teensy 3.1 for control
– microsdcard reader interface
– bluetooth module
– 15 pcs 400 mAh LiPo

Key to this project was the ability to develop and store animations using Glediator Up until this point I was aware of and had only fiddled with Glediator. However, overflo was able to implement the software to suit his matrix. This really opens up some options for control and generation of animated sequences for our led matrices.
